Michael Zoyes was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to South Florida when he was 4 years old. Growing up in South Florida Michael quickly became a nature and underwater enthusiast. Michael attended The Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale and discovered his love for cinematography. After graduating in 2000 he went to work for Native Films as a commercial producer creating high-end national commercials. Michael also worked for Miami Music Channel A3TV directing and shooting concerts, music videos, and reality content that established A3TV’s brand. Over the years he was able to work with many high-end cinematographers and learned various styles and techniques from each of them. As the years past by at Native Films Michael continued shooting as a commercial cinematographer filming for clients such as DHL, Phillips and Universal Records, creating documentaries, music videos, and feature films. He then moved to E*TRADE’s social networking site where he was the senior creative producer and created over 500 webisodes and mastered the business of viral videos. In 2007 Michael left Native Films to join Luis Bacardi’s RUM BUM FILM & HD STUDIOS as a producer of in house content. Since then Michael helped produce films, commercials, music videos, documentaries and continues perfecting his craft today.
